How's Life Dude? (2007)“Appuram Sowkiamah?” is a laugh out loud skit galore show with a difference. It showcased the talents of well known local comedians. Directed by T T Dhavamanni the show entertained everybody, across all generations, as it contained a wide spectrum of comedy types –from ‘slapstick’ to ‘intelligent’ comedy. Hence although the show promised to be a “laugh out loud, laugh a minute series”, strong messages were parked under some of the skits which allowed audiences to connect with the show at another deeper level. "Howse Life Dude?" dished out the different kinds, types, or forms of comedy, including: slapstick, deadpan, verbal comedy, black/dark comedy and parody or spoof. It was an entertaining, vibrant, first of a kind in Tamil, laugh a minute satire comedy drama series that captured the hearts of the audiences of all ages. “Life should be enjoyed…not endured!” |
