The design of the teleplay (60 mins) in terms of language, theme, metaphors, allusions, issues; the personal, social, political sensibilities are very much rooted to the soil. It chooses to explore our fear, concern, frustration and to a wider extent the Singaporean sensibilities.
This teleplay will explore the joys and pains, the ignorance and intimacy, the prejudice and the harmony, the empathy and the apathy that we share among us as Singaporeans!
People from our neighbourhood and afar; the void deck loiterer, nosey neighbours, taxi driver, budding entrepreneur, an artist wannabe, jobless turned kidnapper, a short movie maker, money lender and a tourist from afar take centre stage!
